This week for the Missing Person Thursday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Jaylen M. Griffin. Jaylen is classified as an endangered missing person. He was last seen on August 4th, 2020 in Buffalo, New York.
Jaylen was born on April 22nd, 2008, and was 12 years old when he went missing. He is described as a black male, 5’3”, 145 lbs, with black hair, and brown eyes. Jaylen was last known to be wearing either a black or a black & gray striped t-shirt, sweatpants, and white Nike sneakers.
Jaylen was last seen after returning home from taking his new puppy for a walk at 11 a.m. on August 4th. His home is located on Warren Avenue in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood in Buffalo. Jaylen had said that he was going out again but did not mention where his destination was. Jaylen was known to hang around certain shops carrying bags for money. Law enforcement believes he may still be in the Buffalo area due to sightings after Jaylen went missing.
