This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Everardo Orozco. Everardo is classified as an endangered missing person. He was last seen on October 5th, 2018, in Nogales, Arizona.
Everardo was born on October 10th, 1973, and was 43 years old when he went missing. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’11”, 160lbs, medium-length brown hair, and green eyes. Everardo may be using the name Lalo. He has a large scar on his forearm and may have light facial hair or a goatee. Everardo was last known to be wearing a gold chain and carrying a wallet as well as a cell phone.
Everardo had informed his family that he was taking a shuttle from Tucson to Nogales. He was supposedly going there to help a friend with a plumbing job. He last spoke with his mother on October 5th, 2018. Everardo had told her that he was in Nogales and would be returning the next day. However, he never returned and has not been heard from since. Investigators believe that Everardo was involved in narcotics trafficking as well as the people he went to visit in Nogales. His family believes his disappearance could be cartel-related.
If you have any information on Everardo or his disappearance, please contact Officer Michael Evans of the Tucson Police Department by phone at (520) 791-4444. Please make sure to reference case number 1810100476.
