This week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the comedic romance film, The Wrong Missy. This movie was released in 2020 and has a running time of 1 hour & 30 minutes. This film is rated TV-MA for the following reasons: moderate sex & nudity; mild violence & gore; severe profanity; moderate alcohol/drugs/smoking. Starring in this movie are David Spade, Lauren Lapkus, and Nick Swardson. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: Tim thinks he’s invited the woman of his dreams on a work retreat to Hawaii, realizing too late he mistakenly texted someone from a nightmare blind date.
This movie kept me laughing throughout. I loved the casting, and I don’t think you could have picked a better cast for this film. I loved the story and the message behind it. I will be rewatching this film when I need a heartwarming laughfest.
I give this film 4.5 out of 5 stars.
