Missing: Nikki Lyn Forrest

This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Nikki Lyn Forrest. Nikki is classified as an endangered missing person. She has been missing since September 25th, 2010, and was last seen in Piqua, Ohio.

Nikki was born on November 29th, 1990, and was 19 years old when she went missing. She is described as a white female, 5’2”, 160-180 lbs, with brown hair, and brown eyes. Nikki’s ears and tongue are pierced. She has the following tattoos: a scarecrow with ‘If only I had a brain’ on her arm, a deadhead moth on her stomach, and a bat with a Celtic knot on the center of her lower back.

Nikki had been somewhat transient in the year before she disappeared. Nikki had gotten into two arguments before she disappeared. The first one was with a friend of her mother’s. Nikki has been staying with her and they had fought about the rules. Nikki’s response was to pack up her things and leave. It is unknown how Nikki traveled the 8 miles to Troy. There she got into an argument with her ex-boyfriend about plans to move out of the city. At the time Nikki went missing she was midway through a high-risk pregnancy that she had to take daily medication for. Her shoulder bag was recovered, and the medication was found in the bag. At the time of her disappearance, Nikki was not known to law enforcement, but a number of her acquaintances were.

If you have any information on Nikki or her disappearance, please contact Detective David Thomas of the Piqua Police Department by phone at (937) 778-2027 extension 3031. Please make sure to reference case number 10-15778.

Tomorrow for the Writing Thursday feature, I am presenting an original scene. Next week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Sean Isaac Sidi. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
