This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I’m highlighting the Doe Network profile of Edward J. Hoag. Edward is classified as an endangered missing person. He was last seen on June 10th, 2016 in Oregon. Edward was born on February 2nd, 1961, and was 55 years old when he went missing. He is described as a white male, 5’6”, 160lbs, with brown/gray hair, and brown eyes. He has a small rose tattoo in only dark blue ink on his upper right arm. He has a thin mustache and goatee. Edward was known to be wearing jeans, a baseball hat, sneaker-type shoes, and a gold band on his left pinky. He was carrying a knapsack-type bag, pop-up tent, wallet, cell phone, and PA identification.
Edward had called his sister later in the evening on June 10th, 2016, saying that he was unable to find work and would be heading south. His sister took this to mean either New Mexico where he was last employed or California where his son lives. He also has family in Pennsylvania. No one has heard from Edward since and his TracFone account minutes have remained unchanged since that date. If you have any information on Edward or his disappearance, please contact Officer Ryan Kimmel of the Lower Paxton Township Police Department. Make sure to reference case number C16-0013148.
