Missing: Tyarra Cacique Williams

This week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Tyarra Cacique Williams. Tyarra is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on January 7th, 2016, in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Tyarra was born on June 18th, 1996, and was 19 years old when she went missing. She is described as a black female, 5’5”, 120 lbs, with brown hair, and brown eyes. Tyarra has her ears pierced and has a stub in her left nostril piercing. She also has a nickel-sized burn scar on her right wrist. Tyarra was last known to be wearing a pink shirt, a black North Face jacket, dark blue Levi’s jeans, white Jordan sneakers with green trim, and a royal blue knit cap.

Tyarra was last seen when she split off from her boyfriend and her younger brother at the Stoneybrook Apartments off of Webster Road near Randleman Road in Greensboro on January 7th around 8:30 p.m. She said she was going to visit a friend in the apartment complex. She did visit with the friend and on her return home, the location signal on her phone stopped reporting. Indicating that her phone was either turned off or the battery had died. It is uncharacteristic of Tyarra to leave without warning or being in touch with friends and family. Investigators believe that she disappeared under suspicious circumstances and may have been met with foul play.

If you have any information on Tyarra or her disappearance, please contact the Greensboro Police Department by phone at (336) 373-2222.

Tomorrow for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the society & culture podcast, I Made This Bed. Next week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Johnnie Grace. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
