Missing: Norvel Robert Nelson III

This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Norvel Robert Nelson III. Norvel is classified as an endangered missing person. He was last seen on January 5th, 2012, in Mineral Point, Missouri.

Norvel was born on October 26th, 1974, and was 37 years old when he went missing. He is described as a white male, 5’10”, 150 lbs, with strawberry blonde hair, and hazel eyes. Norvel is legally blind and has short-term memory loss. He has the nicknames Bob and Bobby. Norvel has a scar on the left side of his face from forehead to ear. He has tribal tattoos on both arms. Norvel was last known to be wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, and blue sneakers.

Few details are available in this case. Norvel was last seen when he went to gather his wife’s belongings from a trailer she stayed at at some point. His mother had been in touch with him once a week but has not heard from him since January 5th.

If you have any information on Norvel or his disappearance, please contact Sheriff Zach Jacobsen of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office by phone at (573) 438-5478. Please make sure to reference case number 20120094.

Tomorrow for the Writing Thursday feature, I am presenting a new original scene. Next week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Lauren E. Spierer. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
