Missing: Mercedes Zaevon Toliver

This week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Mercedes Zaevon Toliver. Mercedes is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on December 17th, 2016, in Prescott, Arkansas.

Mercedes was 18 years old when she went missing. She is described as a black female, 5’0’ – 5’4”, 115 – 125 lbs, with black hair, and brown eyes. Mercedes has the nickname, Cede. She was last known to be wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a yellow shirt, and gray sweatpants.

There are few details in this case. Mercedes was last seen walking south away from her residence on the 300 block of Rosston Road in Prescott, Arkansas on December 17th, 2016. She had gotten into an argument with her mother and had left with her cell phone and $20 in cash. Her mother thought she was walking to her aunt’s house so lived nearby. However, Mercedes never showed up at the aunt’s residence. It was not like her to leave without notice. Mercedes was on her phone and social media daily before disappearing. There has been no activity since her disappearance.

If you have any information on Mercedes or her disappearance, please contact the Prescott Police Department by phone at (870) 887-2676. You can also contact the Arkansas State Police by phone at (870) 777-8944.

Tomorrow for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the arts podcast, A Rhythm Runs Through It. Next week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Siphat Chau. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
