This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Lorraine Simonne Currier. Lorraine is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on June 8th, 2011, in Essex, Vermont.
Lorraine was born on July 5th, 1955, and was 55 years old when she went missing. She is described as a white female, 5’3” – 5’5’, 150-170 lbs, with long brown hair, and brown eyes. Lorraine’s left leg is shorter than her right due to ankle surgery.
Few details are available in this case. Lorraine and her husband were last seen at their residence on June 8th. Neither of the two showed up to work the next day or called with an explanation. They have not been seen or heard from since. Authorities say that evidence at the home suggests that they are not voluntarily missing.
If you have any information on Lorraine or her disappearance, please contact Detective Morgan Lawton of the Essex Police Department by phone at (802) 879-4923. Please make sure to reference case number 11ES03888.
