Missing: Lauren E. Spierer

This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Lauren E. Spierer. Lauren is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on June 2nd, 2011, in Bloomington, Indiana.

Lauren was born on January 17th, 1991, and was 20 years old when she went missing. She is described as a white female, 4’11”, 90 – 95 lbs, with long blonde hair, and blue eyes. Lauren’s ears are triple pierced. She has a small horizontal scar in the center of her forehead and a 12” vertical oblong skin-tone birthmark on the center of her back. Lauren suffers from Long QT Syndrome. She was last known to be wearing long black leggings, a white off-shoulder, cropped sheer shirt and a white long-sleeve button-down shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Lauren had on the following jewelry: a diamond stud-bar belly ring, a large silver ring with a turquoise stone, a round silver “O” shaped ring, a thin gold brack with a red “evil eye” ruby surrounded by diamonds, and possibly a blue half moon necklace.

Lauren was last seen on multiple surveillance systems in the early morning hours of June 3rd, 2011. She was first seen leaving Kilroy’s Sports Bar at 2:27 a.m. in the company of Corey R. She had left behind her cell phone and shoes at the bar. They arrived at Lauren’s Smallwood Plaza apartment and departed in less than 20 minutes. The two are then seen on surveillance headed in the direction of Corey’s apartment building, just before 3 a.m. Lauren is then reported to go to a neighbor of Corey’s a little after 3:30 a.m. She placed two calls that both went unanswered. The neighbor reported that Lauren left his apartment at 4:30 a.m. He reported last seeing her at the intersection of 11th Street and College Avenue, she had been heading south on College. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance and her case remains unsolved.
