This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the health & fitness podcast, Latinx Therapy. This show debuted in April 2018. This podcast has an explicit language warning. There are 58 episodes to listen to at the time of writing. The following overview is provided from the Apple Podcast page: Break the stigma of mental health as it relates to the Latinx community. Learn self-help techniques, how to support ourselves or those around us that struggle with mental illnesses and create cultural competency for other providers working with the Latinx population.
This a great podcast that covers relevant topics to today’s society. There is a large variety of topics covered. However, the one topic that I wish I heard more about on the podcast is poverty and its impact on the community. Even with that topic lacking in the catalog that this podcast has, I think there is something for everyone. I highly recommend this podcast if any of the above information has piqued your interest.
I give this podcast 4 out of 5 stars.
Tomorrow for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the holiday film, Happiest Season. Next week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the arts podcast, A Rhythm Runs Through It. Until then keep listening on; Nerd Out.
