This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the action-adventure series, The Falcon & The Winter Soldier. This show ran from 2021 to 2021. It is rated TV-14 for the following reasons: moderate violence & gore; mild profanity; mild alcohol/drugs/smoking; and moderately frightening & intense. There are 1 season for a total of 6 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 50 minutes. Starring in this series are Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Wyatt Russell. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: Following the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ Sam Wilson/Falcon and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities – and their patience.
This answered a lot of my questions when they said Captain America was going to continue to be part of the MCU after the events of Avengers: Endgame. I enjoyed the cast and story. However, there was something missing that I can’t quite put my finger on. Unlike WandaVision which I have rewatched several times over, I have yet to rewatch this series.
I give this show 3.5 out of 5 stars.
Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Chris Daniel Garcia. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic horror series, Midnight Mass. Until then keep binge watching the episodes; Nerd out!
