Missing: Kelly Jon Armstrong

This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Kelly Jon Armstrong. Kelly is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on July 17th, 2011, in Kokomo, Indiana.

Kelly was born on October 4th, 1983, and was 27 years old when she went missing. She is described as a white female, 5’2” – 5’5”, 115 – 120 lbs, with long auburn hair, and brown eyes. Kelly has the following tattoos: “Steve” inside a heart with wings (left thigh); and blue/turquoise tribal tattoo (lower back). She could be using the last name, Hubbard.

Kelly was last seen by her family in July of 2011. After not hearing from her in a few weeks they reached out to authorities. Authorities did find blood in the trailer that Kelly shared with her boyfriend and young child. In February 2012 they charged Kelly’s boyfriend with murder. They have never recovered her remains.

If you have any information on Kelly or her disappearance, please contact Det. Scott Purtee of the Kokomo Police Department by phone at (765) 459-5101. Please make sure to reference case number 2011-46930.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Thursday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Miguel Sonny Scott. Next week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Jermaine Hunter. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
