This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic drama series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. This show debuted in 2017. It is rated TV-MA for the following reasons: moderate sex & nudity; mild violence & gore; severe profanity; and moderate alcohol/drugs/smoking. There are 4 seasons for a total of 34 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 55 minutes. Starring in this series are Rachel Brosnahan, Alex Borstein, and Michael Zegen. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: After her husband leaves her, young mother of two Miriam “Midge” Maisel discovers that she has a talent for stand-up comedy. Could this be her calling?
I found this show to be funny and witty. I love the costumes and sets. The cast is top notch in my opinion. I understand Midge’s journey and some of her missteps. We’re all human and we all desire things but that doesn’t mean we don’t make mistakes along the way. I love the comedy parts of this show, especially in the first season as Midge’s life is going through major changes. I highly recommend this show.
I give this show 4 out of 5 stars.
Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Brenda Kay Wallace. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedy series, On the Verge. Until then keep binge watching the episodes; Nerd out!
