Missing: Amber Elaine Fowler

This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Amber Elaine Fowler. Amber is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on July 7th, 2012, in Joplin, Missouri.

Amber was born on April 21st, 1980, and was 32 years old when she went missing. She is described as a white female, 5’7” – 5’8”, 175 – 225 lbs, brown hair, and hazel eyes. Amber may be using her maiden name of West.

Amber had lost most of her belongings in the May 2011 Joplin tornado. She has relocated to a FEMA trailer with a man moving in as well. While Amber has been reported missing by her family as they have not seen or heard from her since before her month went to the trailer on July 7th, 2012, and received no response, the man has not. The man is believed to be her boyfriend Dennis Dewayne Gideon Jr. Dennis was last reported to have been living in the Spokane, Washington area.

If you have any information on Amber or her disappearance, please contact Det. Cpt. Larry Swinehart of the Joplin Police Department by phone at (417) 623-3131. Please make sure to reference case number 18-11444.

Tomorrow for the Writing Thursday feature, I am presenting a new original scene. Next week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Stephen Allen Ducat. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
