Missing: Cynthia Crystal Martinez

This week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Cynthia Crystal Martinez. Cynthia is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on July 16th, 2017, in Keizer, Oregon.

Cynthia was born on July 13th, 1991, and was 26 years old when she went missing. She is described as a Hispanic female, 5’, 120-140 lbs, with black hair, and brown eyes. Cynthia has pierced ears and the following tattoos: “Dominguez” (center collarbone); “Trust” (above left breast); “No One” (above right breast); “Karisma” (upper right arm); princess crown (upper left arm); “Forgive Never Forgot” (top/front left shoulder); “Jesse” (top right shoulder); “503” (behind right ear); “walk by faith not by sight” (outside right calf); “C” (Old English Script, on left hand between index finger & thumb); “If you are going to be two-faced as least make one of them pretty” with Marilyn Monroe’s face & skull (right thigh); “Trust” (right arm); and “Faith” (right arm).

Foul play is suspected in this case. Cynthia had left her house at 5 p.m. on July 15th, 2017, to go to a Quinceañera. This has been her first time going out since having a baby a few months prior. After the party at approximately 11 p.m., Cynthia went to Tequila Nights Bar & Grill on River Road in Keizer, Oregon. She had gone there with a female friend and two men that she didn’t know. Cynthia’s outfit did not have pockets and she was not carrying a purse, so her friend was holding on to her phone and ID for her. Cynthia’s companions left the bar without her. Surveillance cameras caught Cynthia leave the bar 10-15 minutes after her companions only to return a few minutes later accompanied by another man. When Cynthia did leave the bar she left with two Hispanic men in a light blue 2004 Honda Odyssey minivan shortly after 2:30 am on July 16th. Cynthia has not been seen or heard from since. Law enforcement was able to identify the two men that Cynthia left the bar with but have only been able to speak with the one who was ruled out as a suspect. The other man whom authorities would like to speak with is Jaime Alvarez Oliveras. He left town the same day that Cynthia disappeared and his current whereabouts are unknown. Authorities would like to also speak with anyone who saw the 2004 Honda Odyssey between 2:30 a.m. on July 16th and 11:45 a.m. on July 17th.

If you have any information on Cynthia or her disappearance, please contact the Keizer Police Department by phone at (503)390-3713.
