This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Betty Alexander. Betty is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on April 10th, 2019, in Sullivan, Missouri.

Betty was born on October 22nd, 1949, and was 69 years old when she went missing. She is described as a white female, 4’11”, 145 lbs, with shoulder-length brown hair with highlights, and blue eyes. Betty has a large scar on her back from surgery, and she has been diagnosed with dementia. She was last known to be wearing a black hooded jacket.

Betty was last seen on Wednesday, April 10th, 2019, at her apartment. None of her medication for Thursday was taken. On Thursday, April 11th, her in-home physical therapist was unable to reach her by phone. Meals on Wheels stated that she wasn’t home when they came. On Friday, Meals on Wheels stated that the door was ajar so they left the meal but did not see Betty. On Sunday, her daughter arrived at 4:30 pm and found that the door was locked. She checked Betty’s apartment, finding the Meals on Wheels on the table with the milk being warm. Betty’s glasses, id, and other important items were all located in her apartment. Nothing in her apartment seemed to be touched. None of her neighbors had seen her since Wednesday. A grid search turned up nothing.

If you have any information on Betty or her disappearance, please contact Detective Finn of the Sullivan Police Department by phone at (573) 468-8001.

Tomorrow for the Writing Thursday feature, I am presenting a new original scene. Next week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Loki Marduk Rhone. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
