This week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the comedic family film, The Tribe (OT: LA tribu). This movie was released in 2018 and has a running time of 1 hour & 30 minutes. This film is rated TV-MA without any additional information provided on the rating. Starring in this movie are Paco León, Carmen Machi, and Maribel del Pino. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: A cleaner woman with vocational street dancer tries to recover her long-stranded son that she gave for adoption, a former CEO who lost everything, including his memories.
This was an adorable and funny film. I enjoyed on it a number of different levels. I found a lot to relate to as I watched the film. It was fun to watch the family dynamics at play in the story. I will be watching this film again. I highly recommend it.
I give this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.
Tomorrow for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic sci-fi series, Orphan Black. Next week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the comedic romance film, Good on Paper. Until then keep consuming the cinema; Nerd out!
