Physical

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic drama series, Physical. This show debuted in 2021. It is rated TV-MA for the following reasons: mild sex & nudity; severe profanity; and mild alcohol/drugs/smoking. There is 2 seasons for a total of 20 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 30 minutes. Starring in this series are Rose Byrne, Rory Scovel, and Dierdre Friel. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: A woman struggling in her life as a quietly tortured housewife, finds an unconventional path to power through an unlikely source: the world of aerobics.

If you are triggered by disordered eating or eating disorders this show should be approached with caution. This show is brilliant, and I found it very relatable. The prop and costume departments deserve a ton of credit. They really nailed the visuals of the time period and locations. The cast is fantastic, I absolutely love Rose Byrne. I highly recommend this show.

I give this show 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Eddie James Johnson. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic drama series, Pretty Smart. Until then keep binge watching the episodes; Nerd out!
