Orphan Black

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic sci-fi series, Orphan Black. This show ran from 2013 to 2017. It is rated TV-MA for the following reasons: moderate sex & nudity; severe violence & gore; moderate profanity; moderate alcohol/drugs/smoking; and frightening & intense scenes. There are 5 seasons for a total of 50 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 44 minutes. Starring in this series are Tatiana Maslany, Dylan Bruce, and Jordan Gavaris. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: A streetwise hustler is pulled into a compelling conspiracy after witnessing the suicide of a girl who looks, just like her.

This is an amazing show. I was hooked in the first 5 minutes and binged the whole thing. Tatiana Maslany is perfection in this show. The story will keep you on your toes from the first scene until the end. The cast is amazing, and each is perfect for the role they play. This is easily one of my favorite shows of all time. I cannot recommend this show enough.

I give this show 5 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Barbara Ann Jenkins. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic drama series, Physical. Until then keep binge watching the episodes; Nerd out!
