Meow.Org: The Cat-Napping Caper by Darby Lee Patterson

This week for the Fiction Friday feature, I am reviewing the children’s animal fiction novel, MEOW.Org: The Cat-Napping Coper by Darby Lee Patterson. This book was published in August 2009 by Storiesandbooks.com and has a page count of 104 pages. The audiobook is read by Ann Richardson and is 3 hours & 23 minutes in length. The following overview is provided from the B&N page: Dozens of cats and kittens have disappeared from their homes and Elzbeth and her friends are worried. Since the other kids at school don’t play with them, the four friends use recess and weekends to figure out a diabolical – and sometimes funny – plot that’s making captives out of innocent kittens. They use clever technology, mighty brains and special gifts to pinpoint where the cats are, and Elzbeth dives straight into trouble. Can her friends save her and the cats from a scheme so evil it will curl your whiskers? And exactly why does someone need hundreds of cats, anyway? Join The Crew as they use their considerable abilities to solve the mystery!

I loved this book. It is perfect for cat-loving, mystery-seeking children. It was the perfect length and entertaining for my youngster to enjoy the whole thing in one sitting. I highly recommend this book to young mystery readers.

I give this novel 5 out of 5 stars.
