Family Reunion

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic family series, Family Reunion. This show ran from 2019 to 2022. It is rated TV-PG for the following reasons: mild profanity. There are 5 seasons for a total of 45 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 28 minutes. Starring in this series are Tia Mowry-Hardrict, Anthony Alabi, and Talia Jackson. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: When the McKellan family moves from Seattle to Georgia to be closer to extended family, the transition is like being a catfish out of water.

I loved this show. I found it relatable both from an adult’s perspective and a child’s perspective. The cast is great. This show is funny without being cruel and loving without being smothering. The culture shock for the kids is something I related to even as an adult moving to a very different part of the country. I loved that I could watch this with my kids and they enjoyed the show as much as I did. I highly recommend this series, especially if you are looking for something the whole family can watch together.

I give this show 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Travis Warren Tucker. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the reality TV series, Sparking Joy with Marie Kondo. Until then keep binge watching the episodes; Nerd out!
