Missing: Shanna Genelle Peoples

This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Shanna Genelle Peoples. Shanna is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on September 8th, 2013, in Geneva, Alabama.

Shanna was born on November 22nd, 1991, and was 19 years old when she went missing. She is described as a white female, 6’0”, 120 lbs, with long sandy blonde hair, and brown eyes. She may be using the name Shanna McKee. There is a birthmark on the inside of Shanna’s leg just above the knee. Shanna was last known to be wearing white pants, a blue & green blouse, and flip-flops.

On September 8th, 2013, Shanna was last seen walking down the street in her neighborhood. She only lived a few blocks away from her parents. When it was discovered that Shanna was missing the front door of her residence was open and the television was on. This was out of character for Shanna as she was routine about turning off things and locking the door when she left. The only thing missing from the residence was Shanna’s cellphone which was turned off at 4 pm on the day she went missing. In July 2012 some belongings of Shanna’s were recovered. However, that lead was a dead end.

If you have any information about Shanna or her disappearance, please contact Lt. Ricky Morgan of the Geneva Police Department by phone at (334) 684-2777. Please make sure to reference case number 105050. Or contact Susan Hanson of the FBI by phone at (334) 792-7130.

Tomorrow for the Writing Thursday feature, I am presenting an original scene. Next week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Travis Warren Tucker. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
