Missing: Ayla Bell Reynolds

This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Ayla Bell Reynolds. Ayla is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on December 16th, 2011, in Waterville, Maine.

Ayla was born on April 4th, 2010, and was 1 year old when she went missing. She is described as a white female, 2’9”, 30 lbs, with strawberry blonde hair, and blue eyes. She is last known to be wearing green one-piece pajamas that have polka dots and read “Daddy’s Princess” on the front.

Ayla was last seen in her father’s home on December 16th, 2011. Her left arm had been in a sling at the time. Authorities have previously stated that Ayla’s father was being uncooperative with the investigation. Authorities believe that the adults who were in the residence that night are withholding information. They also believe that Ayla is deceased and was not abducted from the residence. In April 2012, some items of interest were found behind the Hathaway Creative Center in the Kennebec River, about a mile from the father’s home. No one has been named as a suspect in Ayla’s disappearance,

If you have any information on Ayla or her disappearance, please contact Detective Lincoln Ryder of the Waterville Police Department by phone at (207) 680-4700. Please make sure to reference case number 11WAT-1669-0F.

Tomorrow for the Writing Thursday feature, I am presenting an original scene. Next week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Shannon Lee Collins. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
