This week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the animated adventure film, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania. This movie was released in 2022 and has a running time of 1 hour & 27 minutes. This film is rated PG for the following reasons: mild sex & nudity; mild violence & gore; and mild frightening & intense scenes. Starring in this movie are Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, and Kathryn Hahn. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: After one experiment, Johnny turns into a monster and everyone else becomes human. Now it has to be seen whether they will be able to reverse this experiment.
This movie was amazing. I was a little worried when I found out that some of the voice cast would not be returning to this film. However, the new cast members filled the roles perfectly. It never missed a beat that the previous films had and was just as amazing. I loved the story and found it was an important step for Dracula to better understand his daughter and see where he may have been wrong. This film is great for the whole family, and I highly recommend it for family movie night.
I give this movie 4.5 out of 5 stars.
