Cooking with Paris

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the food reality series, Cooking with Paris. This show ran from 2021 to 2021. It is rated TV-MA with no additional information provided on the rating. There is 1 season for a total of 6 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 23 minutes. Starring in this series are Paris Hilton, Demi Lovato, and Kim Kardashian. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: Paris Hilton can cook…kind of. And she’s turning the traditional cooking show upside down. She’s not a trained chef and she’s not trying to be.

If I could give this show negative stars I would. Hell, if any rating app lets me give it zero stars, I would. I hated this show as much as I hated the A Christmas Prince movie from the early days of this blog. I don’t know who Paris is trying to gaslight into thinking she knows her way around a kitchen. I will give her credit she does have some amazing ideas for themes/parties. But it is never her executing any of it. She pays people to do it and it is so obvious with this show that that is how it works in her world. Watching her struggle in the kitchen to explain the basics of what she is doing is all the evidence I need that she doesn’t know her way around a kitchen. I don’t know why it took Netflix so long to cancel it when they are so cancel happy with other shows. Please do not watch this show, it really isn’t worth your time. You would be better off watching Nailed It! and scrolling Pinterest.

I give this show 1 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Ayla Reynolds. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic sports series, Ted Lasso. Until then keep binge watching the episodes; Nerd out!
