The House of Flowers (OT: La Casa de Las Flores)

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic drama series, The House of Flowers (OT: La casa de las flores). This show ran from 2018 to 2020. It is rated TV-MA for the following reasons: severe sex & nudity; mild violence & gore; moderate profanity; moderate alcohol/drugs/smoking; and mild frightening & intense scenes. There are 3 seasons for a total of 33 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 60 minutes. Starring in this series are Cecilia Suárez, Claudette Maillé, and Dano Yazbek Bernal. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: A wealthy matriarch tries to maintain her family’s façade of perfection after her husband’s mistress exposes their dirty secrets.

This is hands down my favorite show of the year. I have rewatched this show many times over already because I found it hilarious. I love the actors and have started consuming other projects on their filmographies. I love all the twists and turns this show had. While everything was a bit over-the-top that is the way it’s meant to be. Fantastic show. Must watch.

I give this show 5 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of John Clinton Walker. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the reality TV series, Cooking with Paris. Until then keep binge watching the episodes; Nerd out!
