This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the comedy podcast, The Bald & the Beautiful. This podcast debuted in October 2020 and comes with an explicit language warning. There are 53 episodes to listen to at the time of writing. The following overview is provided from the Apple Podcast page: The Bald and the Beautiful with Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamo features a pair of grizzled gay ghouls exploring the cultural boundaries of modern beauty through interviews with gorgeous guests who inhabit various facets of the beauty industry. From model, moguls, influencers, drag queens to adult performers. Actors, and more, Trixie and Katya break down the beauty behind it all.
I love this podcast. Trixie and Katya are my favorite drag queens. I love their friends and this is everything I needed out of a podcast of the two of them. I enjoy their guest segments, especially when one of the hosts is a fan of the person. You can tell that while a podcast is working there is a lot of fun that they have. This podcast does not shy away from any topic, so be warned. A fantastic podcast that is not meant for everyone. So check it out and let me know if you laugh your way through the episodes the way I do.
I give this podcast 4 out of 5 stars.
Tomorrow for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the holiday film, The Christmas Chronicles 2. Next week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the society & culture podcast, Uncool with Alexa Bliss. Until then keep listening on; Nerd out!
