Premise: a child’s dream literally comes true

Marcella was scratching her ankle through her argyle socks when I approached her at our high school. Our prep school had captivated the nation’s attention when a pregnancy pack had been outed when 10 of the senior girls all had babies by graduation. Witnessing the eyebrows raised as cameras flocked to interview the fertile female students of the school population was interesting. At least it ended up getting me out of my hellish existence in the town I had grown up in. I had been sent to the Guidance Office because of the pentagram on my art portfolio. I stopped at the drinking fountain to help with the thirsty feeling I got when anxious. What I thought was a reporter had asked to see my artwork. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to show someone who might know someone my work. Anything to get out of here, I hated having to go to this school, I didn’t want to spend another minute here. Apparently, the reporter is siblings with one of my favorite artists, and they offered to sponsor me a spot at the art school of my dreams. Now, I need to convince my parents to let me live my dreams.
