Missing: Maya Annette Sanders

This week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Maya Annette Sanders. Maya is classified as an endangered missing person. She was last seen on March 12th, 2019, in Astoria, Oregon.

Maya was born on February 4th, 1990, and was 29 years old when she went missing. She is described as a black female, 5’9”, 130 lbs, with brown hair, and brown eyes. Maya had pierced ears and was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome. She was last known to be wearing a black, white, & green shirt, dark-colored pants, and pink shoes.

There are few details available in this case. Maya was last seen in Astoria, Oregon on March 12th, 2019. She was reported missing at 4 p.m. after some of her belongings were found along the Riverwalk. She had been spotted on surveillance video around 3 p.m. walking onto a pier that juts out onto the Columbia River. However, there is no footage of her returning. Maya has not been seen or heard from since.
