Premise: An interview on live TV

“Thank you, Tom. This morning I am here with Dr. Thelma Bishop to discuss the local sea clean-up effort. Dr. Bishop, what is your organization working on today with the clean-up?

“Well, my team has been studying what has been affecting the local sea life. Members had noticed that many of the new life had impish growth in the first year. That was the first thing that we noticed, then a few members noticed a change in the sepia which made us look at what was happening in the environment around the area that could cause these things. We noticed that in the local area, there seemed to be a lot of fast fashion manufacturers. Between the denim plant on the west side of the city and a sheep farm just outside to the north. While most of the changes we can trace to the chemicals used by the denim plant, we also found that excessive jet emissions from the wool being flown out of the local airport also factored heavily into the outcome we are seeing. As you look down the beach the man bellowing is Owen, they are working to secure the nipple on the pipe we are using to help contain sea life for us to observe in a rehabilitation environment. Laverne a little further down the beach in the apricot color jacket, is looking over the notes from yesterday to determine how many more days of observation the local amoeba environment needs before we have enough evidence of harm.”

“How long do you think you will be out here?”

“I would say at least a week. Then it will be about a month or two for us to publish our report with the city,”

“What do you hope this report does?”

“I hope it opens the eyes of the local residents, and government about what is going on in their town. I hope it provides answers that people have been looking for.
