This week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Trista Marie Yelding. Trista is classified as an endangered missing person. She has been missing since April 3rd, 2017, and was last seen in Theodore, Alabama.

Trista was born on June 20th, 1992, and was 24 years old when she went missing. She is described as a black female, 5’0”-5’4”, 120 lbs, with black hair, and brown eyes. Trisha has the nickname, Tasha. She is fluent in American Sign Language and has medication-treated epilepsy, the medication was left behind when she disappeared. Trista has pierced ears and two tattoos: “Regina” on her right arm and “Baby Rattler” on her left thigh.  She was last known to be wearing a blue shirt with “Baldwin County, Alabama” on it, black pants, flip-flops, and a pink hat.

Trista has been staying at a friend’s house at the time of her disappearance. The friend stated that Trista had a panic attack and ran into the woods, leaving all of her belongings behind. She has not been seen or heard from since. Her family says it is out of character for her to leave without warning. Her family relied on her to communicate with her father who is deaf. Trista was also an active social media user, and such activity stopped when she went missing. The circumstances of her disappearance are unclear.

If you have any information on Trista or her disappearance, please contact the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office by phone at (251) 581-1181.

Tomorrow for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the business podcast, She’s So Cool. Next week for the Missing Person Saturday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Joshua Tate. Until then keep sleuthing the cases; Nerd out!
