This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the documentary limited series, High Score. This show was released in 2020. It is rated TV-14 with no additional information provided on the rating. There are a total of 6 episodes for the one season. Starring in this show is Charles Martinet, Rebecca Ann Heineman, and Nolan Bushnell. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: Traces the history of classic video games, featuring insights from the innovators who brought these worlds and characters to life.
I loved this look at the evolution of video games. I didn’t really know a lot about the origins of video games, so I appreciated the time they took to go back and explain the entire evolution. I kind of wish that arcades were still a thing because that just seems like a blast. I missed out on that fun being born in the late 80s. I love the passion all the people had when discussing video games. You could feel their energy through the TV. Highly recommend this limited series to all the gamers out there.
I give this series 5 out of 5 stars.
Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Cynthia L. Deppe. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic crime series, Dead to Me. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
