This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic crime series, Good Girls. This show ran from 2018 to 2021. It is rated TV-14 for the following reasons: mild sex & nudity; moderate violence & gore; mild profanity; moderate alcohol/drugs/smoking; and mild frightening & intense scenes. There are 4 seasons for a total of 50 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 43 minutes. Starring in this series are Christina Hendricks, Rhetta, and Mae Whitman. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: Three suburban mothers suddenly find themselves in desperate circumstances and decide to stop playing it safe and risk everything to take their power back.
I enjoyed this show a lot. I found it funny and quirky. Every time you think the danger has passed you are reminded that the danger never ends. I love the cast; I think they picked the perfect people to play each role. This is a fantastic series, and I am sorry that it was canceled without a proper ending. I highly recommend this show to anyone who likes shows like Breaking Bad and Weeds.
I give this show 4 out of 5 stars.
Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Kenneth Paul Sexton. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the reality TV series, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
