Emily in Paris

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic drama series, Emily in Paris. This show debuted in 2020. It is rated TV-MA for the following reasons: moderate sex & nudity, mild profanity, and mild alcohol/drugs/smoking. There are a total of 10 episodes for 1 season. Each episode has a running time of approximately 26 minutes. Starring in this series is Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulicu, and Ashley Park. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: A young American woman from the Midwest is hired by a marketing firm in Paris to provide them with an American perspective on things.

If you need an unrealistic but cutesy show this one is for you. I know that there are people that don’t like this show but when I need to escape the stress of real life, I enjoy putting this show on. I think the cast is well done. I love some of the more quirky aspects of this show. I also loved learning that I had been saying the title wrong. It’s supposed to be said the rhyming way of Emily in Pa-ree. I get that this show might be a little too cringe for some to watch. But if you need something to get lost in that is not reality, this is a good one to check out.

I give this series 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Elsha Marie Rivera. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the reality competition series, The Circle. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
