This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedic crime series, Dead to Me. This was debuted in 2019. It is rated TV-MA for the following reasons: mild sex & nudity, mild violence & gore, severe profanity, moderated alcohol/drugs/smoking, and mild frightening & intense scenes. There are a total of 20 episodes for 2 seasons. Each episode has a running time of approximately 30 minutes. Starring in this series is Christina Applegate, Linda Cardellini, and Sam McCarthy. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: A series about a powerful friendship that blossoms between a tightly wound widow and a free spirit with a shocking secret.

This show is a serious emotional rollercoaster. You have characters that show they are not redeemable then there are others that all you are rooting for is redemption. You hurt with characters as they feel betrayed on such a core level. The casting is fantastic, and I wouldn’t want any other actors in the lead rolls. I cannot wait to see where the story goes. If you need a show that makes me feel all sorts of things this is the series you need to watch.

I give this series 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Perry Cohen. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the crime action series, Jessica Jones. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
