Crimes of the Centuries with Amber Hunt

This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the true crime podcast, Crimes of the Centuries. This show debuted in October 2020. This podcast has an explicit language warning. There are 53 episodes to listen to at the time of writing. The following overview is provided from the Apple Podcast page: Crime is so commonplace that it takes something particularly shocking to be labeled the “crime of the century.” Even so, there are a lot of cases that have earned the distinction. In each episode of Crimes of the Centuries, award-winning journalist Amber Hunt will examine a case that’s lesser known today but was huge when it happened. The cases explored span the centuries and each left a mark. Some made history by changing laws. Others were so shocking they changed society.

I enjoy this podcast. There have been a few stories that I had already known about, however, most I had never heard about previously. There is a nice variety to the cases that are covered. I highly recommend this podcast to those into history or true crime, you will learn a lot. So good and so fascinating.

I give this podcast 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the crime drama film, The Many Saints of Newark. Next week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the true crime podcast, One for the Road. Until then keep listening on; Nerd Out.
