This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the comedy series, The Crew. This show ran in 2021. It is rated TV-14 with no additional information provided on the rating. There is 1 season for a total of 10 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 25 minutes. Starring in this series are Kevin James, Jillian Mueller, and Freddie Stroma. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: Life in the garage swerves off track for a NASCAR crew chief and his tight-knit racing team when a new boss steps in and shakes things up.
I thought this show was funny and could grow into something great. I liked the cast and the foundation they had laid. Although, Netflix didn’t see what I saw and gave it a swift axe. This show had potential but I can also see where it had its viewership limited. I don’t blame Netflix for making the decision that they did. I am just tired of enjoying shows only to have them canceled after one or two seasons.
I give this show 4 out of 5 stars.
