Salt Fat Acid Heat

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the food documentary series, Salt Fat Acid Heat. This show ran in 2018. It is rated TV-PG with no additional information on the rating provided. There is 1 season for a total of 4 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 43 minutes. Samin Nosrat is the host of the show. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: Docuseries, based on the award-winning book, explores the essence of cooking and the vital ingredients at the heart of a great dish.

I did not like this show. My biggest peeve had to do with how the host interacted with the cooks/chefs. I am sure the book is a better experience of this show. Not everyone who can write a cookbook can host a show. I can see why some people would like this show, however, this style of storytelling is not my thing.

I give this show 2.5 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Kara Denora Rigdon. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the reality TV series, Marriage or Mortage. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
