The Mandalorian

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the action-adventure series, The Mandalorian. This show debuted in 2019. It is rated TV-14 for the following reasons: moderate violence & gore; and moderate frightening & intense scenes. There are 2 seasons for a total of 16 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 40 minutes. Starring in this series are Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, and Giancarlo Esposito. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: The travels of a lone bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

I love this show. This is everything I could want from a live-action Star Wars show. I wish we could get another robot like in season one. I have been one of those who has been buying any Grogru merchandise I can. I like the ways it ties back to the Skywalker Saga without having to solely depend on it for everything. This really sets the bar high for all other Star Wars series that follow and to be completely honest all future Star Wars anything. Disney has done a decent job with Star Wars since the acquisition. However, I am always scared that Disney is going to do what Disney does best and ruin a good thing. Though, I feel like they have made significant steps to learn from their mistakes of the past. Even if you have never watched anything Star Wars, I think you could watch this show and enjoy it. You just may not understand every reference or why fans geek out at certain things.

I give this series 5 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Sean Isaac Sidi. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the action-comedy series, WandaVision. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
