The Big Day

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the reality TV show, The Big Day. This show debuted in 2021. This show is rated TV-MA with no additional information provided on the rating. There are two seasons for a total of 6 episodes. Each episode has a running time of approximately 45 minutes. Starring in this series are Daniel Bauer, Prerna Gupta, and Sanjeet Raman. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: For six engaged couples, happily ever after begins on a spectacular note in this eye-popping look at India’s multibillion-dollar wedding industry.

This was an interesting look at the wedding industry in India. I had known about some of the customs and traditions of traditional weddings in India. It was interesting to see how modern times are changing and challenging the wedding industry. I don’t take this show as the ultimate authority on marriage in India, but it was a fascinating peek at the other side of the world. I recommend this show to anyone who likes learning about other cultures and customs.

I give this show 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Lucas Allen Prassas. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic adventure series, October Faction. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
