Polaroid

This week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic horror film, Polaroid. This movie was released in 2019 and has a running time of 1 hour & 28 minutes. This film is rated PG-13 for the following reasons: moderate violence & gore; mild profanity; mild alcohol/drugs/smoking; and severe frightening & intense scenes. Starring in this movie are Kathryn Prescott, Tyler Young, and Samantha Logan. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: High school loner Bird Fitcher has no idea what dark secrets are tied to the Polaroid camera she finds. It doesn’t take long to discover that those who have their picture taken with it, soon die.

I liked this film a lot. Watching this felt like I was watching Freddy Krueger meets Final Destination. So, if you like those two film franchises, you should like this film. I liked the casting, I recognized a few of the faces. I appreciated that they didn’t rely heavily on jump scares. This was a good film and I would recommend it to horror fans.

I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the cooking series, Nadiya Bakes. Next week for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the mystery-horror film, Truth or Dare. Until then keep consuming the cinema; Nerd out!
