This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the Doe Network profile of Maereg Tesfaye Tafesse. Maereg is classified as an endangered missing person. He was last seen on March 3rd, 2018 in Seattle, Washington. Maereg was born on January 2nd, 1994, and was 24 years old when he went missing. He is described as a black male, 6’0”, 158lbs, short black receding hair, and black eyes. He is known to have a beard and a tattoo of flying birds on his left hand.
The only known personal effect that is missing of Maereg’s is his cell phone. He had called his family on March 2nd, 2018, and told them that he was going to leave the US. He has been in the US since 2012 for school in Worcester, Massachusetts. He was last known to reside in Seattle; however, he has also lived in California and Oregon. If you have any information about Maereg or his disappearance, please contact Detective Tanya Woldstad of the Seattle Police Department by phone (206) 684-5582 or by email [email@example.com]. Please make sure to reference case number 2018462881.
