This week for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the Doe Network profile of Dominic Gracin Potts. Dominic is classified as an endangered missing person. He was last seen on November 6th, 2018 in Chester, California. Dominic was born on January 9th, 1997 and was 21 years old when he went missing. He is described as a white male, 5’10”, 150-160lbs, short/medium length dark brown hair, and brown eyes. Dominic is also known to use the nicknames/aliases: Domonic and Dom. He has the following distinguishing marks: scars on arms and chest from welding, psoriasis on his legs that looks like slight/medium redness & flaky skin, and a slit in each eyebrow.

The only personal item that has not been recovered that was known to commonly carried by Dominic was his wallet. Plumas County Sheriff’s Office received a call from Dominic’s mother, reporting that she had not heard from him in a few days. On November 8th, 2018, Dominic’s vehicle was located abandoned in a secluded area at Lake Almanor. The driver’s side window was down, keys were in the ignition, and Dominic’s cell phone was on the passenger seat. An extensive search of the area did not turn up any lead. If you have any information about Dominic or his disappearance, please contact Detective Kris Frazier of the Plumas County Sheriff’s Office at (530) 283-6375. Please make sure to reference case number 2018012854.

UPDATE: Unfortunately, there has been an update in this case. Dominic’s remains were found not far from where his truck has been found. The full update is available at the link below
