Inside Star Wars

This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the TV & film podcast, Inside Star Wars. This podcast ran from May 2019 to July 2019. There are 12 episodes to listen to at the time of writing. The following overview is provided from the Apple Podcast page: From the creators of Inside Psycho, Inside the Exorcist, and Inside Jaws, comes a new immersive audio biopic about the making of the original 1977 Star Wars. It was a movie made on a shoestring and dumped into a handful of movie theaters. And then it changed the world. This is the story of George Lucas and his dream. We take you inside the stories of the people who struggled to make the original classic and the people who did their very best to stop it dead. Now playing in all galaxies.

This is a fantastic look at the origin of Star Wars. I learned things I didn’t know before. I think listening to this made me appreciate everything that the original trilogy is more. If you like Star Wars at all I think you should give this a listen. However, if you are a fan of Star Wars this is more of a must-listen. This is a quick binge listen, that is expertly produced and well-structured.

I give this podcast 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic horror film, Polaroid. Next week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the true crime podcast, Crime Crazy. Until then keep listening on; Nerd out!
