Premise: The love of each other’s lives

I think the best thing about having an epic love is that most of the time it takes something extraordinary for those in it to realize what they have. Movies make this righteous claim that epic love stories have to follow a certain step-by-step to be considered one. When the reality is messy and partners are irritating. This isn’t always a piano playing at a fancy restaurant when he goes to propose. Sometimes it might be that he tosses the ring to you and never truly asks because the answer is already known. Not everyone is going to enthusiastically embrace each other and live happily ever after. There are sometimes those times when a person has to remember to breathe and behave because others are being awful but it’s not worth it to engage. It means sometimes having to store up all the good moments for when you want to hit an in-law in the head with a ceiling fan. Not every moment is pretty. Some moments may stink as much as a dead fish. But you know it’s that epic love when you can look at the person and the only way your heart can describe it is love.
