This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the educational podcast, I, Survivor. This podcast debuted in July 2018 and stopped updating as of May 2019. There are 36 episodes available according to the Apple Podcast page at the time of writing. The following description is provided from the Apple Podcast page: Women get assaulted. Women get attacked. Women get harassed, manipulated, intimidated, but women are survivors. Time and time again, she persists, even against all odds. Host Jenna Brister and Wagatwe Wanjuki share their stories, and those of the men and women who fought back, who won, and who live rising above the trauma of their experiences.

I enjoyed this podcast. I wish there was more of it to consume. These stories were powerful listens. I cannot rave about this podcast enough. If you need stories of people facing things that may have broken other individuals this is that podcast. This podcast reminds me that I can find the strength to get through anything that comes my way. This podcast is a beautiful reminder of the enduring strength we as humans have to overcome some of the most terrifying experiences.

I give this podcast 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the romantic comedy film, Desperados. Next week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the true-crime podcast, Man in the Window. Until then keep listening on; Nerd out!
