Dead Parents Gang

This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the society & culture podcast, Dead Parents Gang. This show debuted in August 2020 and was last updated the same month. There are 4 episodes available to listen to at the time of writing. The following overview is provided from the Apple Podcast page: We are gathered here today to share our stories of our dead parents. Welcome to my gang.

I like the concept that this podcast is going for. I hope that it returns with more episodes because this would be a helpful resource for plenty of people. I didn’t have any friends who had lost a parent when my adoptive mother died. I was the friend that people came to when they experienced the same kind of loss because they didn’t have anyone who understood. I have now experienced another parental loss and it’s in a unique way. So, hearing all sorts of stories from people who have lost a parent and are at different places with their grief is helpful. I highly recommend this quick binge for those looking for stories of parental loss.

I give this podcast 3 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic fantasy film, A Fall from Grace. Next week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the true crime podcast, Crime Countdown. Until then keep listening on; Nerd out!
