The English We Speak

This week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the language podcast, The English We Speak. This podcast debuted in October 2015 and has 300 episodes to listen to at the time of writing. The following overview is provided from the Apple Podcast page: Every week, we look at a different everyday English phrase or piece of slang in this fun three-minute programme. From BBC World Service.

This is a great podcast for writers who want to improve the dialog in their work. The length of the episode never feels rushed for the subject matter. This is an easy podcast to binge and not get bored. I like how they reinforce the information taught in the episode. Highly recommend it to anyone who uses dialog in their work.

I give this podcast 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Movie Monday feature, I am reviewing the dramatic fantasy film, The Midnight Sky. Next week for the Spotcast Sunday feature, I am reviewing the true crime podcast, Cases of Color. Until then keep listening on; Nerd out!
