Love on the Spectrum

This week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the documentary series, Love on the Spectrum. This show debuted in 2020. It is rated TV-14 with no additional information provided on the rating. There is one season for a total of five episodes.  Each episode has a running time of approximately 40 minutes. Starring in this series are Michael Theo, Kelvin Wong, and Mark Radburn. The following overview is provided from the IMDB page: A four-part documentary series following young adults on the autism spectrum as they explore the unpredictable world of love, dating, and relationships.

This is a fantastic documentary. This is a great way to understand those that are neurodivergent. I have people in my life on the spectrum and I found this as a helpful resource to understand their daily lives better. There are quite a few endearing moments in this show that end up having some of the best quotes about love and life in them. Hearing these young adults talk about their hopes and dreams for their future, reignites the spark in me to embrace each day as it comes. I love the support that these young adults have while navigating love in their lives. I was not as lucky to have that kind of support in my life, so it was nice to see the parents lovingly involved. To walk a mile in another’s shoes is to better understand them and their struggles. I highly recommend this show to everyone to have a better understanding of our fellow citizens of the world.

I give this show 4 out of 5 stars.

Tomorrow for the Missing Person Wednesday feature, I am highlighting the missing person’s case of Jeffrey Keith Joseph. Next week for the TV Tuesday feature, I am reviewing the documentary series, Street Food: Latin America. Until then keep binge-watching the episodes; Nerd out!
